     Her married name was Spicer Eliza Jane. Eliza Jane Wightwick was born in 1839 at Cranbrook, Kent. She married William Spicer between 1 April 1877 and 30 June 1877 at Rye. Eliza Jane Wightwick died after 5 April 1891; She does not appear in the 1901 Census, by when her husband had remarried.

He appeared on the census of 5 April 1891 at 6 Cressington Place, Stoke Newington, London; Head: Thomas Benfield, 61, retired farmer, with his wife, Lydia, 60, and their 2 children, Thomas W. 30, butcher's assistant, and Annie E., 19, florist's assistant. He appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at 97 Markfield Rd., Tottenham, Middlesex; Thomas Benfield a lodger - widower, 72, road labourer. He died after 31 March 1901.
