     James Thomson was born circa 1810. Hewas shipwrecked in the Arabian Sea and was taken to Bushire in Persia. He died there in November, 1829 of privations he had suffered.

     David Thomson was born circa 1809. He died before 1829. A younger brother (name unknown) had been severely disabled as a result of an accident aboard an East India company vessel.

     Betty Kay was born circa 1720 at eldest daughter of the provost of Kirkcaldy. As of 1745,her married name was Jameson. She married Andrew Jameson, son of William Jameson, in 1745 at Old Greyfriars Church, Edinburgh.

     Marion Snodgrass-Buchanan was born circa 1819 at Glasgow. As of 28 July 1839,her married name was Jameson. She married John St Clair Jameson, son of Andrew Jameson and Euphemia Chalmers, on 28 July 1839. In 1844 Marion returned to Britain for treatment of an illness she had contracted in India. Marion Snodgrass-Buchanan died in 1845 at London.
