     James Byner was born in 1814 at Sedlescombe, Sussex, England. He married Caroline Hyacinth Young, daughter of William Young and Elizabeth (?), before 1836. James Byner was a grocer on 3 June 1838 at Sedlescombe. He appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 at Sedlescombe Street, Sedlescombe, Sussex; (Head: James Byner, 37, grocer, living with wife Caroline H., 30 [but could be 39], and four children, Ellen C., James 12,Thomas William 11 and Albert Henry 6.) He was a farmer (according to his son's marriage certificate) on 27 May 1868. He died between 27 May 1868 and 2 April 1871.

     Her married name was Pooley. Her married name was Byner. Caroline Hyacinth Young was born in 1812 at Sedlescombe, Sussex, England. She married James Byner, son of Thomas Byner, before 1836. Caroline Hyacinth Young appeared on the census of 4 April 1881 at Village, Sedlescombe, Sussex; (Head: Caroline Byner, widow, 69, with her mother Elizabeth Young, widow aged 89, both annuitants.) She appeared on the census of 1891 at 26, Seddlescombe; (Head: 'Caroline Hyacinth B, a widow, aged 79, no occupation, b Seddlescombe [NB at no 25 there lived a family called Young - Alfred, 58, ag labourer b Mayfield, with wife, her father and 2 daughters].) She died between 1 October 1897 and 31 December 1897 at Battle; 'aged 85' NB No trace of any will for CB between 1897-9 in the Index.

     Albert Henry Byner was born in 1845 at Sedlescombe, Sussex, England. He appeared on the census of 7 April 1861 at Herne, Kent; Albert H Byner, 16, a draper's assistant [the birthplace being given as Hampshire, but the next in the list is Sedlescombe, so Hampshire is clearly a mistake]. He married Ellen Stonham between 1 April 1871 and 30 June 1871 at Rye, Sussex. Albert Henry Byner appeared on the census of 2 April 1871 at Village Grocer's shop & Draper, Frittenden, Kent; Head: Albert H. Byner, 26, unmarried grocer etc. employing 1 man; Caroline H. Byner, mother, widow, 59, housekeeper, William Lansdell, nephew, 11 (b Ashford, Kent) and 2 servants (1 in the shop.) He appeared on the census of 4 April 1881 at 15 Wolsely Rd, Ashford, Kent; Head: Albert Henry Byner, 36, a grocer (assistant), living with wife, Ellen, 35, and 3 children, Arthur James, 7, Edith May, 5, and Thomas William, 3 - with one visitor, a dressmaker. He appeared on the census of 5 April 1891 at 5 Hanover Place, Eastbourne, Sussex; Head: Albert H. Byner, 46, commission agent, with his wife Ellen, 45, and 2 sons and 2 daughters, Arthur J., 17, draper's porter, Edith M., 15, draper's apprentice, Thomas W., 13, jeweller's apprentice and Augusta E., 9, together with one boarder and one visitor. He died after 5 April 1891.

     Her married name was Lansdell. Ellen Caroline Byner was born in 1836 at Sedlescombe, Sussex. She married William Lansdell before 1860. Ellen Caroline Byner died after 5 April 1891.

     Thomas William Byner was born in 1840 at Sedlescombe, Sussex, England. He married Lavinia Daws, daughter of Thomas Daws and Charlotte (?), before 2 April 1871. Thomas William Byner appeared on the census of 2 April 1871 at Battle Barn, Battle, Sussex; Head: Thomas W. Byner, 31, Farmer; his wife Lavinia, 30, and his niece Ellen C. Lansdell, 9. He died after 4 April 1881.

     Her married name was Young. Elizabeth (?) was born in 1792 at Sedlescombe, Sussex, England. She married William Young before 30 March 1851. Elizabeth (?) died after 4 April 1881.

     Thomas Byner was born circa 1781 at somewhere outside Sussex. He appeared on the census of 7 June 1841 at Sedlescombe, Sussex; (Head: Thomas Byner, 60, grocer, born outside Sussex; and son James 27 and daughter-in-law Caroline, 29, and their children Ellen, 5, James, 3, and Thomas, 1.) He died between 7 June 1841 and 30 March 1851.

     Thomas Fisher had 8 children. He was born on 3 March 1792 at Pontefract. He married Sarah Sykes on 4 January 1813 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Thomas Fisher died on 23 July 1874 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at age 82.

     Edwin Colley Fisher was born on 18 June 1815 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England. He married Sarah Maria Thomson on 25 June 1846. Edwin Colley Fisher died on 27 January 1879 at age 63.

     Sarah Maria Thomson had 10 children children. Her married name was Fisher. She was born in 1826 at Toronto, Canada. She married Edwin Colley Fisher, son of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes, on 25 June 1846. Sarah Maria Thomson died on 11 March 1867.

     Frederick Thomson Fisher married Sarah Boddy. Frederick Thomson Fisher was born on 31 December 1863 at Millwood. He died on 28 July 1936 at age 72.

     Sarah Boddy married Frederick Thomson Fisher, son of Edwin Colley Fisher and Sarah Maria Thomson. Sarah Boddy had 5 children. Her married name was Fisher. She was born on 29 October 1869. She died on 6 October 1953 at age 83.

     Sidney Thomson Fisher was born on 8 August 1908 at Gull Lake, Alberta, Canada. He died in June 1992 at age 83.

     George Thomson died after 1838. He married Sarah Fisher, daughter of Thomas Fisher and Sarah Sykes, on 11 January 1838 at Milwood House; (Peter Scarlett discovered this info - Nov. 03, and has sent me a copy of the marriage cert.) George Thomson was He went to British Honduras circa 1845. He died circa 1847 at British Honduras.
